BTW, the dog in question is no slouch! I looked up some of the NARA results and the dog and trainer both seem to be competing at a very high level.
Glad your brother was able to hook up with Jason. He really is a great trainer, and a serious competitor in FR. Jason and his dog Sniper (the dog in the vid) won the NARA Ring II level Cup and Championship in 2009, and won the NARA Ring III Championship trial in 2010, and were #2 overall for the year (only a few points behind #1). Jason raised and trained Sniper from a pup.
I'm a very lucky person to live only 20 minutes from him.
Sniper is also a hell of a dog. It's a special dog who can kiss babies one minute, and fight like hell with a decoy the next. The dog is absolutely bombproof both on and off the field.
And, don't feel bad Ross, I haven't seen a single new decoy stay on their feet the first time they work Sniper.

Yeah he was a really 'nice' dog. After he tore me to bits, he rolled over and let me give him a belly rub. Very cute.
I know why I went down--trying to move my leg as per Jason's instructions so as to not 'stand up' the dog, I moved it up and away, rather than slightly rotating my hips.
