Oh my gosh Joyce, tooooo cute!!! I thought the first litte kitty was precious until the last grey one with the grey dog!! They looked like twins except, well, you know! Even stretched and yawned together!!! Awwwww.
Something tells me I'll never get here with Falcon!
Can't seem to teach that.
Husband teaches young doctors. He tells me that you can't teach
empathy. You can teach behavior, but not the feeling of empathy. People either have it or they don't.
It could be true with dogs as well.
Funny you say that Betty... I heard a discussion on the radio today with a psychologist who was talking about how so very many younger folks today don't have the ability to be empathetic, partly due, in his opinion to the amount of violent computer games they played growing up. The "empathy" button just gets clicked off when you can virtually kill/torture, etc... Don't know if violent games do in fact play a part, but it was an interesting topic.

I think this could be true. Missy is very gentle with anything young - babies. lambs, kittens. She loves having them around. But at the same time she is a high drive dog and has always been no nonsense with the sheep when working. They just know that you don't mess with her. She is tough, she is boss. But she sure knows the difference between a feisty ewe and a toddler and acts accordingly.

More pictures of Missy, please. She's beautiful and I'd like to see her markings better.
