dear mods and others, hi hope evryone is surviving some of the extreme weather around the globe.
after my first disaster with a pup purchase and a lot of money, time and training seminars later i think i have developed the skills worthy of starting a new pup.
i have the parents and breeder narrowed down and would like some GSD breed nerd to give an unbiased opinion on the line.
i will happily pay for honest advise hence there might be a way that an LB staffer could receive secure online payment through this site???
i am not opinion shopping but seek honest unbiased advice.
i will not publicly name the breeder as that may be a bit awkward
but the pedigree is on line. you won't know anything about the breeder anyway as he is not involved in sports or show and he only has small numbers of litters mainly for his own work. i prefer you don't know him anyway as it might influence any advise.

Well, first of all, most moderators are NOT actual Leerburg employees. Most of us are just folks that are into dogs, and Ed and Cindy decided to make us mods.
Second, without a pedigree to look at, you won't get many responses. Post a link to the dog's lines, and you will get honest responses.
If you want the responses to be only PM to you, then please say so, or else they will be posted here on the board.
Hi Kelly, i was actually advertising for a paid on-line consultation and LB is the only source i totally trust now after getting ripped off much due to my good will and previous lack of knowledge.
i didn't want to start an internet forum chatty thing re this issue, OK so why did i write to a forum then! - you got me there, it was a starting point at a place i trust. - if i did wrong, sorry i won't continue, delete the thread.

As Connie has already said, we Mods are not Leerburg employees and we receive no pay for our work, we're more like trusted friends to Ed and Cindy ( and hopefully knowledgeable in our field ) .
I'm sure that I've helped at least a couple of hundred posters behind the scenes via PM, neither I nor any of the other Mods charge for advice, so feel free to PM us if you'd like.
Just as an example, I've always offered to give help at anytime to anyone that got a Fetz offspring ( or even great-offspring from Betty's breedings ) and I've spent a lot of hours on the phone guiding those owners, I feel I owe it to them for taking on a "full-tempered" puppy!
