Vigo is my first male dog, so I have been researching the whole "to neuter, or not to neuter". He is now almost 9 months old. I honestly don't know when I will neuter him...I have a tentative date for around Easter, but we will see...my only fear is him taking off after the local female dog population including the pit next door.
I have previously spayed between 7 and 11 months with my females. My Grace was like a grown up mature dog at 6 months and was spayed at the same time. Kira was spayed at 10 months and was the slowest ever to mature dog I have ever had...typical of East German GSDs though.
