I just got some of the training DVD's but it is really hard to understand the parts where ME is talking. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
I have all the ME dvds and have never had any audio problems...have u tried another player. All my dvds from leerburg have always come with a piece of paper that tells u what kind of players they are compatible with and there return policy im sure they would replace it if it is a poor copy.
It is fine until ME talks, When Ed is talking/explaining things it is very clear. The echo is really bad though(seems to me) and I have a hard time understanding what he says. It is the training with food DVD, and I have not opened the other two yet. They are parts where he is in the "training room" which must be a very echo-y room, just really have to listen carefully or I can't get it.

Yes, here it is. I just want to say again that I consider this a great DVD and don't think the places with problem audio are bad enough that I can't back up and catch it all.
Unlike our more recent training DVDs where we sit down, create an outline and then go out and film the footage we needed for the video, this DVD was different. ... produced from video filmed at a number of the weekend training seminars over a 2 year period. Some of the video clips used were filmed inside training buildings where .... the audio was slightly problematic .... 6 month editing process I made the decision to use video clips that best explained the concept of the training. ... I chose to use several short video clips that were filmed by other people with home video cameras. These short clips are a very small part of the 3 hours and 45 minute DVD. If I wanted to produce a 1 hour DVD this would never have been an issue. .... We did the very best we can do with computer enhancement to correct any problems. Bottom line is these few clips are not theater quality but I felt the information in them is important for new trainers to see. ... I learned a long time ago that it's best to be up front and honest with people. If you think this is going to bother you, you may not want to buy this video. END QUOTE
I have several of these DVDs and it's true that, sometimes, when the location shifts, say from outdoors to indoors, or from one indoor location to another, the volume of the audio goes up or down. I just keep the remote handy.
ok, well I never saw that but as long as it is not a major part in the DVD I will survive. I just started it but was really wondering if I was going to have the same thing through the whole DVD. And I don't regret getting it.
