Jogi, the 2009 BSP Champion & the 2009 WUSV Vice-Sieger champion, has competed twice in the WUSV and seven times in the BSP with four different dogs, three of which were self bred. Jogi is an active member of the Pro Staff Team (formerly known as Innotek) and encompasses Bart Bellon’s contact method in his IPO training regimen. Markus trains with Jogi and was the front half helper for the 2004 DHV DM, the 2010 DVG BSP and has done helper work in 9 LGA trials. In addition to being a helper for the last 13 years, he was also a 2009 LGA participant, with his HOT German Shepherd Hoss von der Dellwiger. Details:
The seminar will be hosted by the Greater Washington D.C. Schutzhund Group (GWDCSG) located at 18922 Aquasco Road, Brandywine, MD, 20613, on June 10, 11 & 12, 2011. There will be a maximum of 16 dog/handler teams ($350 p/team w/lunch included) with unlimited spectators ($175 p/p; no pro-rating). We will have a caterer on premises for a nominal fee, as lunch options in the area are practically non-existent. We are currently accepting seminar entry forms along with seminar fees. Please note that those that wish to attend the seminar as a handler/dog team ("Active Participant"), should send their checks (with email address written in the memo section), the signed liability release form and a brief bio that includes the current level of training of the handler/dog team ASAP. However, you will not receive definite confirmation of your "Active Participant Status" until we have heard back from the members of the GWDCSG by the date of March 18, and we are certain how many "Active Participant" openings are still available. Checks will not be deposited until this is determined. Those selected as "Active Participants" will be notified via email prior to depositing the checks. Those not selected will have their checks returned via mail. We are expecting competitors from all over the country and we will make every effort to ensure we have the best "active participant" representation at the seminar. That way, it will be a true learning experience for all teams and spectators alike!!! With that said, we are looking for a variety of quality working dogs of varying ages (puppies included) and training levels to illustrate Jogi’s system and approach to top level dog sport training. EARLY SEMINAR RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
