And in other critter news, I had to include a pic of my new rooster. (That we said we weren't going to get). We are already getting an egg apiece a day from the Buff Orphingtons we bought and Steve wanted to go see if the guy had some more. So, at the flea market, there were probably 1000 roosters of 50 different breeds, and then I saw this guy and two hens and he was the most beautiful rooster on the place! HAD to have him! Meet Giant Black Cochin "Handsome" and his two consorts, "Ruby" and "Opal":
She didn't get hurt or really even intimidated. I think it was more a case of the zooms ensued. She was back for more in a few minutes. She and GB (the baby) played quite a while that afternoon.
