Around here the whole town would be searching all night! There was a similar situation here where a teenage girl crashed her car. She crawled through a muddy field to her house with shattered leg bones and couldn't make it past the trees into the yard. The family dog found her and laid on top of her, barking until the parents investigated. It was 30 degrees and she only lived because of her great dog.

I can't believe the police or the family didn't go door to door letting the neighbors know a toddler was lost. And how about the bloodhounds right on that trail? The infrared helicopter was useless, too.
