Hey, all you who feed raw, have you ever had a blood test come back showing the cholesterol high? Kasey had a blood test a week ago at the dermatology vet - she checks it every 6 months since he has to take prednisone during flare ups. She said it was all perfect except for the cholesterol reading being in the higher than normal range. That is not her area of specialty, but she thinks it's because we didn't fast him before the test (we weren't told to). She said next time we do the blood test, we'll fast him first because sometimes high cholesterol can indicate a thyroid problem.
