I play this fun game with Brodie where we run zig zag loops around a random spread of half a dozen picnic tables on a field. I stay on the ground while he bounds over the tables.
Every once in a while though, if I get a ahead of him while running and then make a sharp turn, I'll get a nip in the butt. A quick verbal, stop for a sit, then resume the game, no more nipping...
Seems like prey response. Might be better to separate the prey object from yourself, that way dog will bite prey object and not your butt The verbal correction could confuse the dog as you invite the bite then correct!
