Comfortis (spinosad) saved Nico last year and works better than any flea medicine we have ever used. The new Trifexis also treats heartworm as well as the normal intestinal worms that most HW meds kill.
It is only a couple dollars more per pill which would be even less expensive than the generic HW meds we are using now, as well being super convenient.
Anyone find out anything else about Trifexis? My vet has stopped carrying Sentinel and is now only carrying Trifexis. I've done a google for reviews but with no real success.
I know comfortis was a life saver for us, and the HW med is the same used in interceptor so I assume it is safe when used in combination with the spinosad.
