Dexter found some old friesbe under the porch today. Some stuff left from previous owners.
Any way he was having a great time shreading it untill, I found what he was up to.
Is there any safe toy that he could shread? He does not play much with any thing. He lose interest in food toy and won't chew.
I have ropes but I am affraid he could choke on them if I let him rip them.

My dogs really really enjoy shredding straw. Usually I get a couple bales for the compost bin or my garden every year so I take a bunch, tie it together with a long piece, or stuff it inside of a box with a hole in it and let them have a good time.
Clean up is easy... we just mow it into the lawn.
