Thanks for the Kind words, I know both of them did a decent job but I need to work on them in such environments because that is how most of the places look like. Kaiser cannot take it and you can see him yawn and sniff the ground a lot (Avoidance) . I felt bad for correcting him once for the wrong foose, but he was way off the target there.
helga on the other hand is much better as long as she knows I have the tug.
The sad thing is that they dont even make tug toys in India, I use a rolled up jute bag. It comes apart ever so often.(I am whining here )
One good thing is that both give me reasonable engagement once the tug is out. Helga more than Kaiser.
I want to work them on and off in such high distraction environments before the Ooty show.
Anna> No Head position and focus are not needed for IKC heeling. They actually prefer a dog that is looking around to it's surroundings and still maintains shoulder to left leg position. Some India specific rule I guess
Kieristin> Camels horses kids carousals we got it all.
Lauren> Yes the kids were way too noisy and one Kid even started chasing Kaiser around.(Luckily he did not react to it).
Barbara> Thanks for your encouragement. Some times when I watch videos uploaded from other countries, I am jelous when I look at the lush green training fields you all have
I did notice the camel, and what looked like a child running up to grab Kaiser.
You had many distractions, many eyes on you, and all went well!
You must be so psyched to move to the country with all that land.
You have been working with several dogs at one time, not an easy task, but you have accomplished lots!
Those are amazing videos! What a great relationship you seem to have with those dogs. I hope to some day accomplish even 1/3 of what you were able to do out there. I'm pretty sure I counted more people in the camera frame than there are living in my entire town!
