I'd take a half a cup of chicken and mix it with a half a cup of kibble in a baggie - the kibble will pick up a bit if the chicken flavor and become higher value.
Not only that, but it creates the famous "mixed bag," which IME triggers interest and eagerness. You might add a couple of tiny bits of string cheese.
My daughter beat me to the M&M's a week ago and was scolded for it (the 2 year old) neither her or my older daughter will go near the dog now as they know he is off limits.
I use my pockets so I will just put the mixture in them. Last week I found old chicken bits and some kibble in both sides of my shorts lol.. Thanks again and I will add pic's today hopefully!
nick i am looking forward to pictures and glad he is doing better when you are getting these please dont forget to send some of him AND YOU having fun with each other haha those are the ones i like best

Nick, just a reminder when you're preparing marker rewards: no raw meat with the kibble diet! Just want to make sure you don't make that mistake, especially with this giardia history.
This has been explained here many times, but it suffices to say here that it goes double with Gambit.
The in laws are here today so I wasn't able to get pictures but I did take a video for you! FYI I normally engage with the dog while standing and him chasing the towel. I know I need a flirt pole please don't remind me LOL! He will Platz Sitz and Out for me. He was a little stubborn about out tonight on camera but when I turned it off and stood up asked for the out he did.
I would like everyone to please consider this thread Closed. Gambit is well and eating right! He's now 25 # !
Thanks everyone for helping us help get him well. He was worked on a puppy bite sleeve at our local club the other day for an eval and did VERY well. I was told to "take him home" and he pranced over the 400 yards to the car with the sleeve! Boy was I proud of my little guy! I was told by someone who goes to nationals that he isn't going to be such a little dog after all because he's eating right and not sick anymore. I'm going to be getting most of my advice from my local club members as they've met the dog.
