I have been trying all different products to clean my pup's crate but still get oders from it. It there a product that people recommend for a good smelling crate cleaner? I have used Natures Miricle oxi fresh and petco cleaner. Need something better please help. Thank you
I use whatever I have on the crate...usually general pupose Pinesol.
I find that it's usually the bedding that I have trouble getting clean...and the actual dogs themselves in certain weather. The bedding I wash with Oxyclean + laundry detergent. To keep from over bathing the dogs, I will fill a bucket of water with a little Dawn dish detergent, (very little), and wipe down with a washclothe. They love this and think it's a special treat. All out bathing too often gives mine the itchies.
It's been a long time since I cleaned a crate, as mine no longer use theirs so they are now in the garage.
But when I did clean them, I used "Simple Green" cleaner diluted with water. It leaves behind a nice clean smell.
Bleach and water solution is both sanitizing and deodorizing or if your like me and cant stand the smell a bleach I use a Green Works natural all purpose cleaner (orange) and vinegar about 1/2 cleaner and 1/4 vinegar and 1/4 water in a spray bottle. It works for me great it cleans and deodorizing .
