since everyone seems to have awesome updates on their dogs I decided to share mine. Ever since I been marker training Izzy we have been getting better and better in obedience. I can now down her and walk away from her while she stays there in the middle of chaos. children playing and screaming on one side and teens playing basketball on the other if it was not for Barbara telling me about marker training I would have been lost.
Hey Elizabeth, this is awesome to hear!! I know SOMEONE on this forum would have recommended Marker training had I not, but I'm just really glad to hear it is helping you and your pup!! Now YOU get to spread the happy news to someone at some point!
I'm so glad to hear how well Izzy is doing. It's great that you discovered this forum. Like Barbara said, now you can be a great proponent of (and example of) marker training and can pass it on to others. Izzy is a lucky pup!

People are constantly stopping me to ask about her because she is so well behaved and they only dealt with out of control dogs so they are very surprised when she does what she is told to do immediately .Yesterday I had some kids give her treats and she downed as soon as she saw them.
