OK here is a video of bommi I shot today. You can see that she is hale and healthy. Also in the video you will hear her cry, but I am not hurting her. She is too dear to me to make her cry
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58TEdfk6eRk
Also I dont do all this , I did all this just to record how tolerant she is of me , except the picking her up and babying her part , which is our morning ritual.

What a sweet girl! She's adorable! Koenig would let me pick him up like that... if I was strong enough to heave around 85lbs of brindle beast. Hahah!

AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! She is a crack-up!
Near the beginning, where she yawns real big -- You know how a dog-yawn is often a sign of stress? Well, that is a non-stress yawn if I ever saw one.

I was thinking the same thing Connie! That is NOT a stress yawn! What a happy/sleepy/silly girl that Bommi is.

She is so attached to me and I am so attached to her. The weird thing is that she is very aloof and rather sharp with strangers. A few weeks back, some one who saw me baby her thought he would pet her too, he was lucky not to get bitten by her.
She will not growl at strangers/new comers to my house, she will just ignore them if I am around. She will not back up or cower when they reach for her. Once they get within a few inches she gives a warning bark (which I assume will be followed by a bite) . She will just stand her ground. This give the false impression that she is OK with them and if they try to touch her, she does not appreciate that.
I talk to all my dogs a lot . I know that they cant understand me, but that's OK. The way I see it, I don't understand most of the things they are trying to say and yet it does not stop them. At least I get the full satisfaction of expressing myself when I talk to them .
When I am away on trips, after the 3rd or 4th day, I really start missing my dogs. So I pack up early and come back. . Rather embarrassed to admit that. If you think the howling in this video is weird, you should see bommi when I come back from a trip, she will be screaming at the top of her voice. She will actually attempt to come THROUGH the locked gates.

Don't be embarrassed. I freely admit that I miss my dogs after three or four HOURS. When I'm out running errands or at the movies or anything else that keeps me away from home for part of the day, I think with pleasant anticipation about being greeted by my dogs when I get home. I'm so grateful I have a work-from-home job!

I'm grateful that my work is done at home too!
Visiting my kids and grandkids soon, and yes, I will miss my dogs very much. They love the dogsitter, but I know that when they hear me come back in the door they will go crazy with joy!

I dunno... That yawn could be extreme stress.... Caused by intense fear that one of the other dogs might cut short her cuddle-fest with her daddy!! Too cute, Ram.
