Agreed to second clip some were . Just knowing there are people involved with the PBT and interested in showing the wonderful side of the breed was enough to bring a smile to my face. With the recent postings of Faith I'm trying to look at things and situations a little differently, sorry if I mislead with my 'big smile' comment.
I get what you're saying. In May I began helping with rescue transports locally and just when you think you've heard everything there's something worse. And waiting for pulls and then fosters not coming through I don't know how the two people coordinating for NWI Deathrow dogs do it. I know they are not often happy, I can't read all the posts. The sad time is 3pm that when the PTS happen. I transported 3 red nosed pits in one week. (they have many transporters) Most of my transports have been bully breeds of some type. The owner surrenders are what get me as the facility they come from does not vet just PTS. An OS is a death sentance and the owner knows it. It is happy though. Without rescues and people bringing attention to the issue theses dogs might not have a chance. I just read the Faith post I know the coordinator here goes through similiar feelings that daily when she's got no rescues willing to pull dogs. Sometimes it's hard to see the big picture. Even harder to accept that some might have to be PTS no matter how hard you try.
I shouldn't have said the rescues weren't willing. It's not that they're not willing (most anyway)they just don't have room. there is a shortage of fosters and they can't be placed if there's nowhere for them to go.
