I did not know where else I could put this?
I have a spayed female 10 month old brown & white Pit Bull who I would like to find a good home. I have come to the realization that I do not have enough time for her, she is not getting the training and attention she deserves. Most of the time she is just penned up in my kitchen. I'm a busy mom & wife with 2 small children and numerous other pets, I also train all the time, I'm a competitive inline speed skater, bottom line is that I just don't have the time for Tessa. I made a bad decision in getting her, I wanted a dog but the reality is that I now realize I just don't have time for a dog. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!
Does this dog have any training? Or has she been rotting in your kitchen? You realize, you couldn't have picked a worse breed to dump in Colorado. The demographic of dog owners able to handle the breed is already small, and then you add bsl....
You could probably help the adoption process by rehoming her with a pre-paid training package from a qualified trainer.
That's about all of the 'positive' commentary I have for you.
I hope this pup gets a good home I just had to deal with something just like this. I don't understand why you would get a dog and then ignore her
I am a college student busy schedule but I still make time for her I wake up early and stay up late it is hard but fulfilling
With the schedule you said that you had in your original thread...you really did not have enough time for a dog at all...let alone one that has greater needs.
Just a though,
I place a dog with a tri athlete as a training buddy.
Dog is still too young for full training, but will run in trails, do some roller blades, swim.
This guy ambition is to do a Iron Man, he has under 2 yo twins, a full time working wife and he is a fireman and full time athlete. This dog just tag along even during weekend hiking trips.
Dog will get up at 4 am to run or won't complain about the rain or find the water too cold for swimming.
This guy never though he would ever have a dog. He does not like indoor training and never find training buddy. He think that his dog will eventualy be able to run a half marathon or more when he is older.
