I see what you mean. I have been very poor before and if it happens again, I will add what I can to my dogs diet. You can only do the best that you can. Sharon
I have found that eating healthy is not as expensive in the long run. I do not have as many health issues. Part of eating healthy is eating less but more foods that are whole and not perserved. I have found feeding a bag of dog food is cheaper, more conveninet, but not always the best-depending on whose food you choose. If I had financial situations that had to be addressed. I would buy the best food I could afford, and add good things to it, veggies, etc. I have noticed that feeding a better diet causes the dog or cat to eat less, because it gets more nutrition.
