A little help please can anyone advised me what’s going on and also how to correct this issue with my 7 month old GSD . For the most part when we go to pet her she starts to mouth of or bite myself and my family is this a sign of aggression or what she is not growling and its not a hard bite when we correct her she still keeps on going.
To me, this is just puppy behavior. Redirect the dog to a toy that she really loves to play with. Carry that toy around the house with you. When the pup begins to go for your hands etc, bring out the toy for her to bite on.
You can also let the pup know that it hurts when they bite on your hand and give a firm NO! But redirecting this behavior is the thing to do. Make that toy a lot more interesting than anything.
I don't believe this is any sign of aggression, just the pup wanting your attention.
It helps if everyone can be on the same page with learning to redirect this energy. I used to carry an old small towel in my back pocket for times when I wanted to redirect the pup.
What ever your pup will find fun and gets her interest should work fine.

when you said mouthy off..did you mean she was barking? cause my pup would bark and mouth allll at the same time lol. but it was cause he was so excited
