I am hoping with all my heart this happens... I am getting a Honda Passport and hope to build a camper like my parents have so I can continue to travel with them. Not as big but I am really looking forward to this because I won't have to worry about my dogs destroying something (of theirs, that is), I will have room for all "my toys" that the dogs play with and my own space. (my mama is always telling me how the dogs have more toys and stuff than I do)
Just had to tell someone!
I have a picture of what it should look like but not here on the computer so maybe later. It should be around 8x16 feet.
I sense some spoiling coming on!
I don't think I ever really covered whats been going on for the last 3 months. We went to MO to be with my Grandmother in her last days. I took care of her, living with her for a month before she passed away. Without my knowledge she had talked to my parents about passing her car unto me when she was gone.
I was very surprised and felt that it was time to expand a little. I had wanted to do this a long time ago (ever since 17) but just decided to wait till I felt the time was right.
Problem was that it was a car had almost 200,000 miles, couldn't pull anything, and wouldn't survive the roads. So I sold it to my uncle and bought(am in the process of buying)the passport. It is better on miles, should be able to pull something and not hit all the many speed bumps Oh almost forgot AND have room for my dogs
Yes it would tow the camper.
Okay, gotcha! That should be really nice for you, being able to tow your own little house with you. BTW, so sorry to hear about your grandmother's passing. What a wonderful thing you did, staying with her and taking care of her.
I will try to remember pictures next time I come to the internet. Papa designed a camper for better traveling in Mexico and Guatemala about 10 years ago. We have been living in it since and mine will be the same only shorter...
