I'd go every week twice a week if my hubby didn't work weekend and some nights. No one to watch my little girl but my folks are moving down here next month so I see everything working out to maybe once a week.
A good decoy worries more about how your dog looks than how they look. Affects them when what they try doesn't work, then comes to you the next day and the first thing out of their mouth is "I was thinking about what I tried yesterday with your dog and want to try this, what do you think?" Moreover please understand there is a big difference between a TEACHING helper and a trial helper and it is up to you to find out those differences and if you don't find out, and while you are finding out ask those in your club that do know the difference. Look for helpers that dance with your dog instead of wrestling with it. That said there not many of them.
well put Norman and very much recieved. when i do meet the helper, i will be bringing my "so you think you can dance" judging cards. very eliquantly stated btw. I have honestly met one of those helpers. it was pure joy to see the interaction between him and the dogs he worked.
