Congratulations - he's a handsome boy!! I'm sure you'll have a boatload of fun with him andI can't wait to hear stories
As to purebred or mix, I'd say mix - just something about him that seems to say not quite purebred. Keep in mind that mixes can take on most of the physical characteristics of one of the parents. I saw a BC/Lab cross of know parentage and the dog looked like the average Lab mutt with nothing that really said BC - even though mom was a purebred BC.
It's fun to see what everyone thinks he is! Either way, he's wonderful! Let's hope he doesn't live up to his name too much I was told by several staff members that I was getting best dog in the place and that he has amazing potential. He learned basic commands in the shelter, very quickly even under stress, so I think we are going to go far together. We are heading down to visit him today and introduce DH. I'm still way in shock that he is ours.
Yeah, he’s kinda dark and scary looking. Angel might cool. You know, like the guy dreams are made of…. the guy on the Rockford Files. (ducks and runs&hellip
Amy, I’m so happy this all worked out for you…. yay!!!
I think I'll keep his name. Just because he has a good recall to it already and my kids have been talking about him all week. Training a dog is one thing. Training 3 kids to remember a new name after they have discussed "Diablo" all week would be next to impossible. That and we have quite a few non-English speaking employees. Hopefully the name will make them think a bit
