I just ordered Ed's new puppy training video, but I can already see that I am going to want to get an ex-pen. There are so many to choose from...any suggestions on a good quality one? It will be for a GSD puppy.

Plain wire x-pen takes up less room folded than one with a plastic/wood frame.
It's easier to lean over the sides and pick up toys/pet puppy if the pen is lower BUT it'll take more work to train the puppy not to jump on the sides.
Taller x-pen with a door might be a good option if price is good and storage space is not a problem. These are heavier.
Plain wire pens could be used as barriers in training and several pens clipped together create a bigger enclosure if you need one.
No matter which one you choose you still have to train the puppy to behave in the x-pen.
