I haven't done marker training before. That's a good suggestion. I will look at the articles.
I could definitely take some video but I don't think I know how to upload it here. I'll try to get some footage soon.
I really want to get him out for exercise - other than running around in the backyard. But we still have the issue with him refusing to leave the house on the leash - but prancing happily home when on leash. It is so odd.
and search "puppy", tons of videos come up. Most are free. There is a common thread through most of them...engagement with the handler. I think they will be very helpful to you.
