My Aussie is 16 months, I haven't gotten him neutered yet. He's such a good dog I just feel terrible to do it. I probably will though, I just hate the thought of doing it to him. I know it's silly, but I can't bring myself to do it. Already cancelled one appointment. Ugh....
I have seen a couple breeders using Chemical Castration - I know absolutely nothing about it though. Anyone here have any personal experience or even just knowledge about this? Pros/cons? Long-term health effects?

I felt the same way about my Vigo. It is a hard decision to reach. I decided to wait until the end of December and I feel pretty comfortable with that.

I have a client who just boought a labradoodle from a breeder - it was neutered (and recovered) before she got it at 8 weeks. I told her that it was a very bad idea but she wanted the pup.
