Since I just finished this year's pumpkin, I thought I would share and see if anyone else out there has a creation that they would like to share.
This one is supposed to be a Malinois (could be a Husky or masked GSD too). Last year I did a GSD so I figured I would try a Mal. It took 2 hours from start to finish.
So awesome!I'm going to try my hand at this one after the kids are done with their traditional lopsided faces tomorrow night though it probably won't be nearly as nice as yours Kelly! http://www.pumpkincarvingonline.com/horse-pattern/
The one this year is quite a bit better. Last year I used an exacto knife and a screwdriver. Paul took pity on me this year and bought me a small wood carving set It was much easier to get consistent thickness and the smaller pieces didn't cause nearly as much swearing as last year AND I didn't cut myself this year!!!! (last year the screwdriver slipped and impailed my thumb)
If I get my hands on another pumpkin, I might try a Lab...
