Webboard User Webboard User Reg: 10-03-2007 Posts: 248 Loc: Offline	I've seen some water bowls that have a 1 gallon bottle on it. It's like a water cooler you'd see in an office, but for dogs. Does anyone here use those? It seems to be handy for fresh water available for your puppy... Clarify by spelling every little thing out. Some people can be extreme when drawing their own conclusions.

Plastic worries me since it gets so slimy, I wonder about pathagens growing in it.Can it be washed/disinfected? eta: If this is for a puppy, how will you keep him/her from chewing up any plastic parts? I use stainless steel water buckets and run them through the dishwasher (yes, I'm lazy lol)

We did have one of those several years ago for our cottage, because the dogs went through water so fast (we usually have 6+ dogs up there because all of my family goes).
