Not sure if it is of any relevance at all, but I was on pred during 8 months of chemo and among the many foul things about the med is I had the most ridiculous appetite, but only for highly salted or sugary things because chemo kills your taste buds, and so weight gain was rapid, I also had restless leg syndrome which nearly drove me nuts, water retention in my feet which was so painful I couldn't walk without pain, and pee'd like a brewery horse, not to mention a hair trigger temper that turned me into a spitting hell cat, and my big Sis who is an acupuncturist/holistic practitioner, along with my consultant, said it was virtually entirely down to steroid treatment, it was critical to my treatment but it was a bitch to take, and the weaning off took months.
Probably isn't of any consequence as I know the physiology is different in dogs, but thought I would mention it
