I took Zeus over to the forest preserve yesterday for our usual 8 mile loop. They have a big elk enclosure that we've been past 100x. Zeus and the elk have always completely ignored each other. He has showed zero interest whatsoever in them. Yesterday, for whatever reason, he suddenly noticed the elk and stuck his nose up to the fence. Immediately 4 of the younger-looking elk came over to him to say hello. It was really cool to see.
