Bellow is information on how you can help Elicia Calhoun in her search to find her missing dog. She was driving home from an agility trail when this happened. I have also linked back to the post from earlier this week about dogs riding safely in cars for those of you that did not see it. This is one of my worse fears.
Heartbreaking, but she's really lucky to still have 4 of the 6 alive.
On a somewhat related note, people should teach their dogs not to jump out of the car until given a release. I knew a lady that had a Boder Collie that would bolt out of her truck as soon as the tailgate went down. She never corrected the behavior. Then one day she was pulling a trailer downthe highway and the tailgate dropped. Yeah, you guessed it, the dog jumped out and was run over by the trailer. Killed on impact.
