I have kind of a dumb question. My last dog had what I call a dry mouth, if I played fetch with him the ball would stay dry the entire time. Amber seems to have a very wet mouth, a few throws and the ball is soaked and slimey. I noticed she has developed more tartar on her teeth at a younger age (I brush every day) than my other dog did and I'm wondering if the wetter mouth can cause that?

Actually, I believe that saliva helps to wash away the bacteria that form plaque. I think you probably just have a dog who forms plaque more readily that your other dog.
Brushing is a very good thing. There's a squirty enzyme product for along the gum-line, too, as an addition to (not replacement for) brushing.
Do you know what the name of the product?
I brushed my last dogs teeth and vets would compliment me on his teeth,(like I had anything to do with it,lol). I'd like to give Amber a good teeth advantage as she has already broken a front tooth.
