Hi all, I've been giving some serious consideration to relocating. Ma. has just gotten too expensive, I've decided to leave my apt. and I'm considering Pa. and Va. I'm a nurse, and I was wondering if any one knows how the healthcare job picture is out there? How easy and expensive it would be to find a new rental. How much board for my horse would be. Is it friendly? Safe? Any opinions would be appreciated.
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.
I grew up in PA and my family still lives there. SOuth Central area. I will put out some feelers. I have a friend there in horses, will try to think of someone in healthcare. I remember it being friendly, but after living 20 years in TN I think it is friendlier here. I still get funny looks when I go there to visit and wave too much, and hugging is not always welcomed. :-)
Jodi, "bump" just means Connie is "refreshing" your post to bring it back to the top of the "Active Topics" list. That gives it a chance to be seen by people who may have missed it when you first posted, so maybe you'll get more replies.
Sorry I can't help with information about Pennsylvania or Virginia. I live in southeast Michigan, and it does seem like the medical field is one area where jobs are available. We have a large university hospital complex and multiple other large medical centers in this area.
