So sorry for your loss, Greg. She sounds like she was a wonderful member of the family & will be terribly missed. It is so hard to get through this time of sorrow. But Tasha will be waiting for you at 'the bridge'.
Thank you everyone for all your kind thoughts and words. This has been a tough week to get through and your comments have given us much comfort. Everywhere we turn, we find reminders of Tasha's influence on our lives and it's hard to let them go. I know eventually, the pain will fade and the memories will be easier to recall and cherish. At least we have Bailey now and she gets to enjoy our full attention.
Again, thank you all for your words of support and for this wonderful forum.

In time you will embrace & cherish every little thing that reminds you of her & the joy that you brought into each other lives. It just takes time to get past the terrible hurt.
I'm so sorry Greg. What a beautiful dog she was and what a wonderful life she lived. She had place she belonged and a family who loved her. If only all dogs were so lucky!!

Oh Greg, there's nothing quite like the love for an old, loyal companion. An endearing bond so painfully hard to let go of.
I adored her ears the first day you introduced her to us. She reminded me of the flying nun. Those flipped tips were so unique, much like she was, I'm sure.
My heart goes out to you and your family.
