Time flies when you have 10 pups underfoot.....LOL I can't believe they are going to be 8 weeks old Saturday.
If I can get to the vet this afternoon for their health certs a few of them will be leaving us this weekend. We had a lot of flooding with the Tropical Storm and still have a lot of roads closed. I've literally seen less water damage when living on the coast and having a major hurricane go through. We were fine but a lot of neighbors have lost a lot.
Betty, we're located about 3 minutes (walking) from a major waterway. I've never seen the banks so full. It looks more like a lake than a river. The quick melt and unusual heavy rains have it at a 40 year high. Quite a few people evacuated, sandbags and filthy water everywhere. It's finally backing down though.
Nature can be a scary thing. Glad to hear you guys are all safe.
On the other hand, nature can be such a beautiful thing. All that precious life bursting out of that box. How cute is that. And Cori, such an attentive mother.
I should know better than to open this thread. Is there such a thing as Puppy Drive? One click and it kicks in something fierce.
Maybe I'll just stare at them a little bit longer, try and desensitize myself a bit.

I've always called it puppy fever, and I can get it from looking at a picture of one puppy. Looking at these ten, I think I've just OD'd. (In a good way, of course!)
You and me both, Cheri. I can't help myself... I get goofy when I see puppies. My husband looked over at my face, and without knowing what's going on, he said 'No! You can not have more dogs!' He knows me too well!

Thanks guys!
My husband always meets me at the vehicle when ever I return from a dog event and helps me unload dogs, etc.
I always thought it was the sweetest thing.....Then one day he confessed, he was counting dogs. ROFL
He said one night in his sleep it came to him how easily I could slip in another sable and with careful management he might not notice it for a while....ROFL
I *think* he was joking. But you know, he's right, I think I could do it. ROFL
