Nick Barounis Webboard User Reg: 12-31-2003 Posts: 49 Loc: Offline	quick question: im just about ready to get a e collar, i have checked this site & others regarding the effectiveness of a ecollar & long haired gsd's. i assume i will have to use the longer prongs on the collar, has enyone used them on or know someone who has used them on a long hair shep & was there any problems with making contact with the skin / the collar perfoming correctly? My dog has very dense fur around his neck. i have a problem with matting behind the ears & around the neck. reason i say this is i assume i will have to have the collar on very tight to make contact & im sure this will cause some matting. Thanks in advance, Nick Gerlert's master, returned to find his son gone & his crib bathed in blood. Seeing Gerlert's bloody mouth he stabbed and killed the dog. The noise woke the baby,hidden in the blankets. Under the bed,was a dead wolf. It's throat had been torn out.
