Xrays show only broken metacarpals (the bones from the wrist down),not the wrist, and not even any toes. He doesn't need a cast. We Xrayed his elbows since he was sleeping, they looked great, no arthritis at all, and he's >3 so that's good. We are super happy and feel blessed and lucky. EXCELLENT!!!!! And a big "whew."

Thank goodness the classic cones are not the only choice now, with soft ones and also donuts. A little guy like Pinker might be the right size for the donut. http://www.whole-dog-journal.com/issues/13_8/features/Best-Dog-Cones_20037-1.html I had a dog really traumatized by the classic one .... hyperventilating, in a serious panic. It was before the alternatives (or before I knew of them); she ended up in a strangely-fitted child's t-shirt.
