About 1+ week ago, I noticed Ramsey not wanting to put his right rear foot down intermittently. He still wanted to play etc. I thought it was Pano since he has had that in both front legs and his X-Rays showed it in all his legs. He is just 13 months now.
But yesterday, I heard a popping/ cracking sound now and then. So, I don't think it is Pano. I have scheduled him to see the vet tomorrow. But I am very worried he might need surgery or worse.

I have no veterinary credentials so this is JMHO. Sometimes, a problem with the meniscus in the knee can cause a popping sound. I am sure that your vet will find the problem. Hope he's feeling better soon.
It's sooo frustrating because he still wants to play and is getting crazy. I hate to ignore him or stop him from having fun. Typical... he would play on three legs!!!!
Whew!! I am relieved to say the vet did all kinds of manipulations on Ramsey ( poor thing) and is 99% sure it is Pano).
The tests for ACL, hip etc. did not show anything abnormal, but when he touched a certain spot on his back leg, that got a response. The vet said that is the typical spot for Pano as previous X-Rays showed.
And he did not think the cracking was anything, like you said Steve. Besides, Ramsey is suddenly better and not limping.
With all the Pano this poor boy has had, I might as well have just started training him later!!
I know whatever I have been able to do is better than nothing!
I suppose I could have waited, but I am a nervous owner.
