Hey everyone, sorry to have not posted earlier on Amber. She had a lyme flare but is doing much better,we also tried something for her skin that while it has not totally resolved it, it is much better and she is now on a salmon and potato diet for awhile. Ive had job changes, house changes, horse issues and another unexpected house change today my landlord cancelled my lease so they could do renovations. . Right Ambi,s lyme is under control and she continues to improve.
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.
Is it white potato or sweet potato? I've heard that white potato can cause inflammation of the joints and increase arthritis discomfort. I haven't done much research about it. Just took what I heard at face value since it's easy for me to avoid white potatoes.
Good luck with the housing situation. Hopefully things work out or the landlord will let you move back into a newly renovated house.
Thanks, no theyre selling it but its all good. Yes her dry food has potato in it but I dont think her flare is related, my last dog who had several lyme flares never got any food with potato in it. It s just a nasty disea and where we have such a high incidence of it here Ive seen quite a few of its variations. If she has another flare Ill have her treated with Baytril, which I know stopped my last dogs flares.
