One of my 2 year old GSD's is probably one of the laziest that I know of until it comes time to bite. Then he's little Mr. Ball of Fury. However trying to get his 90 pound butt over a jump is an exercise in futility. I know he is physically capable of doing the jumps but he won't do them. His preferred thinking is if he can't go around something I'll just go through it. This is the same pup that at 3 months of age would go slam into the baby gate until he knocked it down whereas my other 3 month old would climb it. Picking him up and throwing him over the jumps is not an option, he weighs in at around 90 pounds. This is also the same dog that when loading up into the car, he puts his front end in and then turn and looks at me to load up the other end <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> . Any suggestions?

It sounds to me like this may be a medical problem. Get the dogs hips and elbows x-rayed. When you get this done we can talk about training issues but the medical issues need answers first. I am closing this thread until you x-ray the dog
