I know they are considered pests, but I love foxes, they really are whiley and inventive creatures!
They have a bad rep here in the UK, mostly because urban foxes are being fed by some people in their gardens, and there have been a couple of very isolated incidents where foxes have got into houses and 'attacked' babies in their cots - but they are encouraged into our territory because people feed them!
I often see them in the fields around dawn when I am out with the dogs, and we stop and watch them, and while the pointers go into a point, they have never pursued them, and the Boerboels ignore them completely, it's just nice to see them in their natural habitat!
