With Ayla, I was around her litter from the day they were born. It was so fascinating to watch their personalities develop. There were three females. One was a drivey, bitey freak & went to a Schutzhund home. One was super sweet, but kind of odd & went to a pet home. Ayla was the middle of the road girl. She has stayed that way.
Barking wise Ambi has gotten much better than when a pup, she was always extremely vocal on car rides and that has remained at the same level from baby to adult.
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.
UGH!....my male is WAY TOO VOCAL!. Has always been.
He could do the sound track for a Bela Lugosi or Vincent Price horror film all by himself. I didn't even know dogs could make the sounds that this dog makes. LOL His whines & groans are without a doubt the things 'Oscars' are made of.
