Most dogs are lactose intolerant, which is why the form of dairy recommended most is yogurt (since the lactose that the milk contained was mostly used up to feed the good "bugs" during fermentation).
BUT .... many people swear by goat's milk, even for dogs.
Goat's milk has less lactose than cow's milk, and also none of the protein in cow's milk called "alpha S1 casein," which triggers milk allergy in some individuals (humans and dogs).

I have always given my pets goats milk(not every day,not a lot) waaay back to my childhood.I have also had great success feeding it to many orphaned animals. I do not pour it over their raw food or serve close to raw meals out of concern it will buffer acid, that's just been my own logic.
My dad was big on goats milk with his stomach ulcers. Weekends it was beer but that's another story.
I've also heard a number of breeders will start their puppies on kibble with goats milk.

This puppy comment reminded me of Ed's puppy formula recipe .... he specifies goat's milk:
