Last weekend I looked after the now 9 month old Zane while Jamie and Ali took a solo outing before they move house, and baby #4 arrives in July – have they taken leave of their senses?? I think so!!

The boy is a honey, a real peach, good as gold and happy as a sand boy, we played on the floor, did patta-cake, walkies round the garden, half a pound of tuppeny rice etc, and not a wobbly lip or a trembling chin in sight, but I had forgotten how knackering entertaining infants is!

This weekend, Jamie Ali and the boys are at a family wedding, necessitating an overnight stay, so I have Lois and Audrey over here with my lot, and despite the logistics of walking and feeding 6 dogs in a house the size of a shoe box, it is so much fun, and watching Sugar try and fit her fat arse in the old puppy crate I hauled out for the whippet if she wanted some alone time, was worth lugging the bloody thing out of the shed! Not that Audrey has used it, the faux fur throw on my bed is much more to her liking, like a lot of whippets, she is a bit of a princess!

So all things considered, the 6 dogs are easier and fit right in to my wheel house, and I don’t have to change any stinky nappies

Sounds like you are super woman. LOL But having a heck of a good time with it all.....or being a good sport about it all. HAHAHA.

It sounds like controlled chaos -- of the very best kind! Seriously, Tracey, from this post and others, I'd say you are fortunate to have a wonderful family, both the two-legged and four-legged ones. And that's what makes it all worth it.
