Thanks Cheri I went over to look after the other kids while Ali was in having him, and I had totally forgotten how exhausting a house with small people in is, especially first thing in the morning, I was KNACKERED for a week afterwards, and glad to get back to work for the rest
Jamie is besotted with him, and his brothers adore him, although Zane just looked at him with a 'What is this then?' look on his chubby chops, and Lou and miss priss pretty much rolled their eyes at the new arrival and went back to sleep!

Thanks for that Sam, I will forward it to the boy, I know he isn't planning on getting it before the Whippet goes to her ancestors, and not before the wee ones are a good deal older, but all information is pertinent and very welcome, so appreciate the link.
