Now, now Connie. Vince's short bout with depression there can't be confused with him not having a life. It was just the blues, he snapped out of it the next day.
I keep this picture up to remind him how bad it can get. You know, when you're young and reacting to everything that doesn't fit your picture of the ideal situation...for everything else.

Whenever the kids suggest lunch somewhere or a get-together at one of their places, I get very twitchy when we are there for more than a few hours, apparently Jamie says he always knows when I am getting restless about getting home because I start looking for my bag and muttering to no one in particular that I really ought to be getting back to the dogs!
Well yes, I suppose I DO put them first, and because Sam is FINALLY leaving home in a few weeks, I have even asked my boss if I can do a 5pm to midnight shift from then so I can be with them during the day
....He didn't say no straight off, so fingers crossed

LOL, after a few HOURS with either one of my Adult Sons, I'm also ready to get back home with my DOG Hope the Boss agrees to your new schedule request !!!

Well he came to see me today and said he was going to propose it at the management meeting this week, he says it will double productivity! Makes perfect sense to me too LOL
