I just switched my Pup to a raw diet, what a diffrence! He just loves meal time now where as before he just kinda liked it...
My question is: how much should I be feeding him? my supplier told me he should not require as much food as on Kibble, he is 6 mo and was eating 3 cups a day of kibble and now he eats 1 3/4 pnd of raw food. But he is begging me for food all dam day now. Do you think it is becasue he really is hungry or because he really likes it and wants to gorge himself?

I believe the guidelines are 3% of your dogs body weight in food. So if you dog weighs 65 pounds he should get almost 2 pounds of food.
My cocker acts like she is starving all the time and my GSD is fine. So depends on the dog I guess.
I adjust my feeding when the dog is feeling thin.. I up the food.. if he is looking chunky I drop it... I never measure... you will get the hang of it in a couple of weeks..
Thanks guys, my pup is 65 pnds on the nose at the moment either your great or a good guesser! Hahahah <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> it is so diffrent to feed this way, but very cool I am trying to get the hang of it, I appreicate your help!
