There have been at least three instances in the last couple of weeks where I've written a post, hit submit, and it just vanishes. It doesn't post, and it is lost.
The first time this happened, I think Connie suggested that it might have been because of a copy-paste error. (I had copied and pasted some web links into my post that I thought were helpful in my response.) After two tries, I just gave up.
But the last couple of posts that have disappeared did not include any links, or pasted content.
So I'm stumped. It is inconsistent. I just was able to reply to Briannah's housebreaking post, but not to Vivek's balloon-fear post. I'm using Safari 6.2
That's interesting Tracy, because I posted on saturday about Kaiser and Sugar's poor old dad having to be put to sleep, I put it in the appropriate section, and when I hit submit, it came up with a page in huge type, with the name of a person who hasn't been on here for years.
I tried again in 'general non dog', same thing, and I use Safari 6.2 since the last update from Apple.

test post using Chrome.
eta: well, that worked. Safari still doesn't work most of the time. (another post lost to the ether this morning.) Which is a problem since Safari is the default browser on my mac at work, where I waste time on the Leerburg web board.

I'm resisting switching from Safari, mainly because I'm used to it and like it.
