remember when I started out I watched stuff like this on youtube and I thought they were elite special army-man dogs, I forgot this was filmed and only just uploaded it from couple years on a flash drive in an old pair of jeans I lost.
get the right dog, build a bond,point them in the right direction is how I know it works now.
guy wanted a look at my dog 18mo only played tug in the back yard and 2 suspicion sessions, dog triggers on the guy and i'm like I think the dog wants to bite you, lets do like they do on youtube with the long bite thingy, guy goes sure, why not, briefs me for 13 seconds and viola;
yeah the dog has a great bark, not even a hint of shrill. I can go to venues with well credentialed dogs and guarantee my dog will get the full attention of everyone there.
there is a dog in the US that is being mated must be like 5 females per minute with all his litters. when he is not making puppies in the US he flies to euro and makes them there. his semen has even made it to oz.
now that his pups are appearing on the scene I see a lot have whiney barks, most are striking looking large black dogs that are super workers but the bark Bob, the frikkin bark is bollocks.
I just can not stand a crappy vocalisation on a dog.
then again maybe I am taking this stuff to seriously.
I think the average person will think twice about going forward with "any" GSD that is barking at them, whiney or not but a dog with a more serious bark is going to slow down just about anyone.
"crappy vocalization"
Kinda like pit bulls that sound like a squirrel barking.
